Remote Learning

If your child is required to learn from home, they will be able to access learning through our online platforms, Purple Mash and Microsoft 365 (including Microsoft Teams). Login details are provided to all pupils and families.

To help your child engage successfully with remote learning, we recommend providing a quiet, comfortable workspace that is free from distractions wherever possible. This will support concentration and enable children to participate fully in learning activities, complete tasks and engage with teacher feedback.

During periods of remote learning, teachers will provide a structured programme of work, including lessons, activities and feedback through Purple Mash and Microsoft Teams. Pupils will continue to receive support from their class teacher and teaching assistants, and families may also receive telephone contact where appropriate to discuss progress, wellbeing and any support required.

Staff are available during normal school hours and will work closely with families to ensure that all pupils can continue to access a high-quality education while learning remotely. If you experience any difficulties accessing remote learning, please contact the school office so that we can provide support.
